quick delivery and great product for price. make sure you fill tank in garage or shed with Syphon provided and clean tank of any spills....then it's fume free as it runs...with slight fumes when extinguished. Brilliant heater...we put it in hallway and leave all doors open and it heats whole house.

Brought the 241 model a couple of years ago and its been great, really warm. No smell apart from start up and shut down. Don't panic about the safety fear mongers. Mine sits under a window which is open about an inch or so for ventilation and right under a Carbon Monoxide Detectors that's never made a sound. Doesn't leave condensation light gas bottle heaters either. Just clean and brush the wick once a week and replace every season. If you not a handyman changing the wick seems a bit of a deal, but trust me, follow the instructions and when you've done it once it's easy . of course be careful with children and pets around any fire and don't leave it running when you go out. Also, don't fall asleep when fire is running, or at least make sure you have co alarm and good ventilation .

Had one of these for over a year. They only make economic sense if you run them on kerosene heating oil, running them on premium pariffin at £7 or above makes no sense to me, kerosene heating oil is 64 pence litre you can light them manually by open the grill and lift the glass cylinder off there is a twisted bit of metal that enable s you to do this light with a small gas tourch. There is a bit of smell only on switch off. I buy my kerosene in 20 litre Jerry cans had no problems apart from lighting
